Received a package that's not ours!

I've called and emailed Best Buy a few times to inform them that we received a package that was delivered to us by mistake. The customer service agent seemed almost unwilling to help! I don't feel as if we should have to pay for the shipping for it to be returned, and I thought her telling us to take it to a store was also kind of rude! My husband and I are trying to do the honest thing by giving back an item that we didn't order. Thanks in advance!

You know, I like getting packages as much as the next person, but I really like it best when they're for me. I was discouraged to read of your experience in speaking to us on the phone regarding the shipment you received and I regret any inconvenience to you.


Generally speaking, we recommend dropping off an errant shipment at your local Best Buy store's Customer Service desk as it's often the most simple option. Of course this suggestion should be made respectfully and I apologize for it not having been.
