I purchased all new appliances for my new home after I went through a divorce. I choose Best Buy over Lowes because the sales man pitched me with the 0% interest for 18 months. I was happy with all of my purchases and was paying large amounts on my card purchases. I opted for paperless statements because I never look at those things. Which is a HUGE lesson taught here. Here it is 8 months later and I look at my first statement because I feel the amount I owe on the card should be a lot less than what it is.
I have been almost $60 a month in interest on my card because out of the $3,500 worth of appliances that I purchased the cheapest item I purchased in the amount of $198 was placed in the promotional hold.
And there is nothing that Best Buy can do to help, because they say it was my responsibility to check my statement to make sure they did their part.

Best buy has no control over your credit card, that would be Citi Bank as they are the lender. As you're​ aware checking your statements can be beneficial for these instances because it does state on your statements that if the promotion​ is not paid you would be charged retro interest.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your billing troubles with your My Best Buy credit card! Depending on your situation, you may prefer to pay interest and receive points for a purchase, or you may wish to save on interest by using our deferred interest offer. 

Using the details you registered with the forum, I was able to locate these purchases. I see we assisted in replacing your appliance order after an error with your email address caused you to cancel most of your original order. We should be sure that any preferred financing options are chosen when placing orders for our customers, and I'm truly sorry if this didn't occur during this purchase. 

With that said, unfortunately such a change would have required the order to be cancelled and replaced. As such, we wouldn't be able to make any changes given the months that have past since the purchase. I apologize for any disappointment that this news may cause you.
