I bought an Arlo Q security camera in-store on 2/25 for $149.99. I then went on BestBuy.com on 2/27 and noticed the price had dropped to $134.99. I called Best Buy customer service that same day to request a price match, and after a short conversation, the customer support specialist said it was completed. He told me that I would receive an email to notify me that this price match had taken place, and I would see the credit back to my Best Buy card that I made the purchse with in 24-48 hours. I never received an email after the phone call and have not seen it go back on my card yet either. I'm not sure if it just possibly takes longer, but I am worried that it may not have gone through for some reason. I would hate for the price to go back up before my return period is over and I'm not able to get the price match. It would be a pain to return it and just buy it again at the lower price. It would ease my mind to know that this has been taken care of and I will see the credit back to my Best Buy card sometime soon. Thank you.

I have always found it best to go into the store directly and get price matches done.
Bring in the card you used for the purchase, a photo id and a print out of your receipt.

I probably should have taken this approach in the first place because the item is back to the price I originally paid for it now. When I checked out the price match section on the website, it sounded like I could only do it over the phone when it is done after the purchase has already been made, so that's how I went about it.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. I’m happy that you’ve been able to take advantage of our Price Match Guarantee to get the lowest price possible on your security camera. I’m disappointed to hear that you are having issues getting it processed.
Based on the information you have provided in your post and in your forum registration I was able to look into your profile with us. Based on that, I see that the price match appears to have been processed on our end. It can take a few days to have that processed on our end, and then your credit card company can sometimes add some processing time on top of that. The whole process can take up to ten days. If you haven’t received your refund by a week from today, which would be 10 days from the day you called, I’d suggest giving us another call at 1-888-BESTBUY to let us know. Based on what I’m seeing on my end, however, it looks like the price match has been processed and your refund should be on its way to you soon.
Thanks to bobberuchi for the great advice on processing the price match as well. Whenever a purchase is made in a store I suggest going back to that store to process the price match as it tends to get you your refund a bit quicker.
