ONLINE PRICE ADJUSTMENT

I recently purchased a computer online.  I purchased an Open Box Certified by Geek Squad.  Which means to be that essentially this a brand new product.  Now that exact same item is $110 less and I only purchased a week ago.  Even the brand new open unopened is less than what I paid.  I haven't even received the computer yet.  Now I am told that they can't do a price adjustment because of it being an openbox.  At no time did it say while making my purchase that this item was not available for price adjustments or any other stipulations.  I even bought the Geek Squad protection.  I can't even return the item because I don't have it yet.  Still waiting for it to be delivered.  Can't purchase another one the store because the store does not stock this computer.  I AM A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.  I just want a price adjustment on my item as Best Buy always advertises.

Per the terms and conditions of our Price Match Guarantee, it states we do not price match open-box items, only new ones. Because open-box prices change from the time they are returned and by store, we cannot provide a price match. I hope this helps clarify this situation. I appreciate your time and patience.

It does not clarify anything.  I could return this one and buy a brand new one for less than what I paid for an open-box item.  How is that fair?   Price match guarantee only applies if you guys feel it will apply.

Thank you for your response, kssm6371. I can understand where you are coming from, as I always am on the lookout for the best deal. You are welcome to exchanging the computer you purchased for one that is lower in price if you would like. This would be the best option as, price match is not available like I had mentioned.

This item is not available in any store near me which is why I went to the online option.  It just boils down to that I am out regardless.  Let just hope I get to us my money's worth with the Geek Squad then.
