Lost Receipt/Paid in cash

I recently found out that letting my concerns/problem on here would help get my issue resolve. I didn't know you can get help if you lost your receipt so I stop worrying about my beats but now that there is a chance I can get it fix I will be very happy. I got my beats solo 2 wireless  after my graduation from college in May of 2016. I got it around June or July but I cant remember the day. It cost at least 200 I think or a bit lower during that time. My beats wont let me hear it wireless anymore and the cushion of the headphones both came out so I look funny having them in my ear using a wire cord since the bluetooth stop working. I got it at Best Buy in Maryland. The location is 270 center, 15750 Shady Grove Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. If you can help me, I would really appreciate it no matter how long it takes it will be worth it. I just ask if you can take the time to help me it would mean a lot. Thank you and God bless you

Thanks for joining us at the Best Buy Community forums. I’m a headphones guy myself (I own way too many pairs) and I know how bad it feels to have your favorite pair stop working.

 

I’d love to help you try to find your receipt so you can try to get your headphones repaired under Apple’s warranty. So far, however, I haven’t been able to find your receipt using the information you provided. As noted in our article about finding lost receipts, we note that we generally are unable to retrieve receipts for purchased made in cash.

 

If you used a My Best Buy account when you made your purchase, you can send me a private message using the link in my signature below containing your membership number, or any phone numbers or email addresses that may be associated with it. If you don’t have a My Best Buy account that you used, I would need the exact date of purchase and exact amount spent on the receipt to attempt to retrieve a copy.  This information can also be sent via private message, as we respect your privacy.

 

I hope that you have the necessary information and that we’re able to locate the receipt for you.

Thanks for responding back and actually I had gotten it by May of 2016. I believe it was on the 23rd which would be a Monday. But if it wasn't that day then it is that week definitely. The price, I'm not exactly sure because I did get a discount on it. So it could  of been 200 if the beats where by that price but maybe 179 or 149 or 169. I feel like it would 100 something 9 so maybe 159. But if the beats were 150 which I cant remember and if i got a discount then it might be 129 or 119. Sorry for giving you these numbers. But me giving u model number and s/n, does that provide a lot of help in finding it? I really hope you can find it even if you have to take your time no rush I have patience. But I thank you still for putting the effort and reaching out.

Thank you for the update. Regrettably we don’t have a way to search for receipts like this by serial number.

 

Using the additional information in your post I still wasn’t able to locate your purchase receipt. At this point your best bet may be to head in to the store where you made the initial purchase and see if they are able to locate the receipt for you with any of their internal store systems, as it looks like the information you have won’t allow me to find the receipt with the tools that I have access to. I’m not sure if they’ll be able to help you, but it is worth a shot.
