If there's anything that aggravates me when shopping online, it's having an order delayed, especially if I've paid for expedited or express shipping. I was discouraged to hear you've had this occur and I regret any inconvenience to you.

Hey John. Thanks for the reply.

 

My order number is {removed per forum guidelines}

 

Basically, I needed a monitor by today so I found one on your website and ordered it wednesday evening. I was given two options for delivery - free two day shipping with an arrival of Monday, March 20th or "one day shipping" with an arrival of Friday, March 17. 

 

I chose the one day shipping because it needed to come in earlier than monday and was charged for it. Everything seemed to go as planned until yesterday, it never came in. I assumed since I paid for overnight shippind, my package would be sent via UPS Next Day and so it would be delivered by early afternoon saturday and it would be fine. I got and email from UPS informing me that my package was in georgia and my delivery date had been changed to Monday. Not getting this in until Monday is a serious issue. Even an early afternoon delivery today (saturday) would have worked but as I later learned, my one day shipping was being fulfilled by a service that doesn't even offer saturday delivery.

 

I looked back at the shipping info and to my suprise, my package was sent via UPS Ground (meaning no saturday delivery). John, I know that you have absolutely nothing to do with any of this so don't take this personally but I don't know what universe UPS Ground is advertised and sold as the expedited one day shipping service in. I'm really interested to know what service my package would have been sent with had I chosen the free 2-day shipping option. 

 

Anyways, I'm not sure if there was a mistake with the shipping service my package was sent with (on either BestBuy's or UPS's end) or if UPS Ground is just what BestBuy sells as one day shipping but regardless, if Monday were an acceptable delivery date I would have chosen the free shipping option. I would like $24.83 I paid for shipping to be refunded. I'm happy to provide any more information related to my purchase that you need.

On reviewing your order, I have confirmed that our warehouse selected one-day shipping. I'm wholly at a loss to explain the delay in your shipment. I apologize most sincerely for our having disappointed you.
