Geek Squad - HORRIBLE Service and Support

I found out recently that I was charged without my consent or knowledge for a plan that I had no idea was under autorenewal.  I have called multiple people, multiple times trying to resolve this issue (at least 5 - including a call back from a "supervisor") - every single one of them was incredibly rude and disrespectful.  I have been talked over, laughed at, I basically felt like my compaint and issue were completely irrelevant and no one cared about getting me a reasonable resolution.  I am absolutely disgusted with Geek Squad in general and will NEVER use them again based on this which is really sad since I've been using and recommending Geek Squad for almost 10 years.

Welcome to our forums.  My apologies for the delay in our response to your post, as our Support Forums saw an increase in traffic during the past holiday season, causing us to take a bit longer to reply to our customers than we’d like.  I truly appreciate your patience however, and I’ll be more than happy to address your concerns moving forward.

 

Using the information you’ve provided upon joining our forums, I see your plan has been cancelled, per your request.  I’m sorry you had to go through so many phone calls before getting the resolution you were hoping for, but I’m thankful this appears to be resolved.  Going forward, please know I’ll be fully documenting your experience here at our Corporate Headquarters for future coaching or training opportunities that may present themselves, in an effort to avoid a similar experience from happening to our customers in the future.

My plan never should have been canceled - now I have to call back and try and fix this again! Will this never end???

I apologize if there was any confusion as a result of my post, as that was not my intent.  Reviewing your call history with our Geek Squad agents, it appears you requested a cancellation and refund of your Webroot protection plan, which has been cancelled and a prorated refund has been processed.  If there was another plan you were referencing in your post, or another resolution you were looking for, I recommend calling our Geek Squad agents at 1-800-433-5778, as they are best equipped to modify any protection plans you have with us.
