Good morning. My Best Buy account was hacked yesterday. Two orders were placed with a combination of in-store pickup and home delivery items. I contacted your CS by phone and was able to cancel most of the items purchased. The order status indicates a Visa was used and the last-4 given. The last-4 do not match any of my credit cards leading me to believe a Visa account was created fradulently in my name. However, as of yesterday it does not appear on my credit report.
As I continue my investigation into what happened I need some more information. Can someone message me privately? Specifically I'd like to have the entire credit card number and the issuing bank so I may investigate further.
I can provide order numbers and a Best Buy Case Number is needed.
