You have an employee on Facebook bragging about illegally forcing a nursing mother to leave the store, and claiming that his boss and HR representatives agreed with his decision to violate this woman's legal rights.
Is this really the stance of the company? Somehow I think it's probably not.

In Mass it is illegal to throw someone out while they are breastfeeding. When I was a Supervisor at Best Buy I did.
I think it's disgusting to stop in a major retail store or a restaurant where you eat and show your breast. I get it, you need to feed your child but not like that. All the penalty was, was a 1,000 fine. My bosses agreed all the way up to HR.

Best Buy is all about diversity and making sure that both gender sides opinions are put on the table to help grow the company. Here are some statistics:
5 of the 11 on the executive team are female
4 of the 10 seats on the board of directors are female tied for 12th among all S&P 500 companies
Shari B president of U.S Retail
Paula B chief human resources officer
Corie B financial officer
Mary Lou K president of e-commerce
Trish W president of services
On of my favorite quotes from Hubert the CEO that was put into fortune magazine was "if it had been Lehman Sisters instead of Lehman Brothers, maybe it wouldn't have been the catastrophe that it was."
Please look at the top to the bottom and not the other way around to truly understand and see the inclusion of all genders is taken very seriously with Best Buy.
