Hello! I'm having trouble using the 12 month financing program offered to students. I've applied for the Best Buy credit card and its on its way to my house in 7-12 buissness days. Even though i don't physically have the card yet i was able to apply it to my order of a new Asus Laptop, i choose the 12 month option, and finalized my order. I got the conformation e-mail and everything but this morning i was e-mailed by Best Buy that the card failed authorization and i needed a new form of payment within 24 hours. With no clear instuctions on how to fix the situation, i'm hoping someone could help me out.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. I’m sorry it has taken so long for us to get back to you. We’ve been a bit busy and we’re not able to get back to everyone quite as quickly as we’d like. I know how frustrating it can be when a payment you know that you have enough of a balance to cover is declined. Our interest free financing is one of the best benefits of a My Best Buy credit card, and I hope that you’re able to get this purchased processed so you can take advantage of it.
At this point, it may be a bit too late to update your payment method for this order, as it general has to be within 24 hours of the email. In order to update payment information, you’d have to give us a call at 1-888-BESTBUY (1-888-237-8289). If you haven’t already received a cancelation email, there still may be time to call us and update your payment information. If the order has been canceled, I suggest giving us a call or vising our web site to make a new order.
