As of 7/15/2015, members have the opportunity to recieve a $25 bonus certificate through the My Best Buy™ Mobile program. There have been quite a few questions surrounding this offer and how one would go about qualifying. Hopefully this will answer some of those questions and clear up any confusion.
Q: How do I enroll in the My Best Buy™ Mobile program?
A: You can enroll in-store with a mobile associate while purchasing or upgrading a phone OR online by clickinghere.
1. Click “Get Started” on right side of the page
2. Select your mobile carrier (Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint)
3. Enter the primary account holder’s information and click “continue”
4. Click “Join Now”
5. If you successfully joined the mobile program, then you should see a mobile device towards the bottom of your BestBuy.com account
Q: I enrolled in the mobile program a couple months ago and just upgraded my phone…do I qualify for a bonus certificate?
A: Not quite yet. A new phone upgrade or purchase taking place on or after 7/15/2015 registers the phone number with the mobile program, but will not be eligible for a bonus certificate until the next time you purchase/upgrade or activate a new line.
Q: After enrolling in the mobile program and purchasing a new phone, I decided to add a line to my account for my wife. Does that qualify for a bonus certificate?
A: Yes. As long as the new line is properly registered with your mobile account and same My Best Buy™ account is used.
Q: How long does it take for a bonus certificate to post to my account?
A: It should generally take about 20 days.
