Using a New My Best Buy™ Credit Card on

 Were you just approved for a new My Best Buy™ credit card or My Best Buy™ Visa card, and want to make an online order now? If you're within the first 10 days from your approval, you can use these steps to add your new credit card account to your account to make purchases now. If you are beyond the 10 days, your account can be looked up in store until you receive your physical card in the mail. 


Save Your New My Best Buy™ Credit Card to Your Account


  1. Visit
  2. Click the “Check application status” link in the upper right corner.

 3. Follow the prompts to save your card to your profile.

Add Your New My Best Buy™ Credit Card as Your Primary Form of Payment in Your Account



  1. Sign into
  2. Go to your “Account Home”

  1. Click “Manage Your Credit Cards” in the Credit Cards section

  1. Click “Save As Primary” next to your My Best Buy™ credit card.
Save As Primary


Once this is complete, you should be able to successfully use your new credit card!
