If my memory serves me well Best Buy was supporting local music artists with having their cds in the stores surrounding them. Is this still going on?

I was interested in the process as to how Best Buy selects what music from indie/up and coming artists are selected. I know that not everyone can be a part of the now shrinking music department, however, I was hoping that Best Buy was still going to support the up-and-coming artist in the areas.

If you (anyone who answers this question or knows of the information/form's location) have information on this process and if it is still going on (which I hope) please let me know.
