My current favorite TV show is Ugly Betty. There are several reasons why I love this show.
It centers around Betty Suarez, played by the very talented America Ferrara, who I loved in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Real Women have Curves. Betty is the quintessential underdog, often judged by her lack of fashion sense and her sometimes not so glamorous appearance. In my defense, I find her absolutely lovely!!
Betty at first seems quite miscast in her role as Assistant to the editor-in-chief for a top fashion magazine, but the show follows how she really makes herself invaluable and irreplaceable with all her attention to detail.
Also working at the office are Mark and Amanda, who are hysterical in their own right. The show also showcases a traditional middle class Hispanic family and gives us insight into their lives.
I love the dynamics between Betty and her sassy sister Hilda too!
Check it out. I think you will love it!

Although, I am not a fan of the show, a girl I used to work with used to look exactly like Ugly Betty. It's as if she had Ugly Bett syndrome, but now has blossomed. It's scary how much she, and Betty look alike.

Watch Fox much?
I don't really have one show I watch religiously, I would say I am still a huge fan of Seinfeld, and the first 12 or 13 seasons of The Simpsons.
I can watch so many different genres of shows though, depending on the episode, I still find myself watching Saved by the Bell (no laughing!), I also still like The Cosby Show, Roseanne (underrated), Boy Meets World. But also like "reailty" programing like, The Real World, Real World/Road Rules Challenges, Storm Chasers, and other shows.
Gee, working from home has made me a tv junkie.

Howdy angeldhoze,
The shows I like never seem to last more than a year or two. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was amazing and highly underrated. Wonderfalls met the axe after only three episodes, but Fox paid for 13 so the DVD was highly entertaining. Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies have both been killed. Gone too soon, I say. And the fabulous Firefly, as already mentioned. I fear that Dollhouse will meet the same fate; TV too ponderous for our sound byte driven society.
Maybe next year something will last.

See now she asked for favorite, but let me elaborate on my favorites, aka the stuff I dvr and watch every week. John made me think of it when he mentioned Eli Stone, which was amazing, but died and they did not even wrap up the loose ends!!!
Sunday - Desperate Housewives - I just started watching this about 2 years ago after seeing it at my mother-in-laws while having a Sunday dinner. Delicious fun!
Monday - Heroes, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Secret Life of an American Teenager. You can tell I have kids/teenagers in the house.
Tuesday - Nothing really catches my eye, plus I raid in World of Warcraft that day...rawr!
Wednesday - Again a free night for my dvr since some ABC programming changes
Thursday - Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice
Friday - TV free night, kids take it over normally!
Saturday - iCarly - Yep, kids got me hooked on this. It is super cute to be honest, and funny!
In the past I have gotten too attached to super shows and then they just go off the air leaving me hurt and alone! Like what happened with Eli Stone! Last year I watched Side Order of Life, State of Mind, which both got cancelled.
I also love alot of comedy shows, like That 70's Show, Before I Met Your Mother, and 2 & a half Men.
My husband started watching Dollhouse last week. Seemed interesting and had the always delightful Eliza Dushka.

Gerald - Triple D is an AWESOME show. I also love Iron Chef America and Good Eats (Alton Brown is my culinary hero).
But I'm also a big fan of some of the following shows:
Kitchen Nightmares
Hel's Kitchen
(Okay, I admit it - Gordon Ramsay is HOT)
Family Guy
Lie to Me
The Pretender
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Voyager
Xena (laugh later when I'm not around, okay?)
CSI (all of them, but Vegas was the best, before Grissom left)
And I've got a ton more. You should see my Hulu queue. It's packed of shows like that. LoL
