I recently came across the trailer for "Brothers" and it looks pretty good. Actually, I was watching David Letterman sereral evening ago and he commented on the film saying, "This is the best film I have seen in nearly 20 years!" After checking out the cast, I think this film definitely has Oscar potential. Does anyone know anything else about this film?

I have to say, I typically don’t pay attention to movies like so. But, I did a little research online and found a thriller that was a little more in-depth than what I have seen on TV. It’s a very moving story.

Thanks for the recommendation, I will make sure to catch it when it comes out.

I just wanted to give you a brief film review incase you were still interested.  I am a big fan of the Danish original so I was a little skeptical that the American version could live up to it, but it exceeded my expectations. Great direction by Sheridan and not as overly-sentimental as it might have been. It was one of the most relevant films I've seen in a long time. It made the reality of the psychological horrors of war very real in a no nonsense way! This film by all means should be a sleeper hit with Oscar nods for Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllanhaal and Natalie Portman who by the way was stunningly sexy and beautiful while delivering a convincing performance! Sam Shepard was Oscar caliber great as well. I totally loved this film and I haven't said about a movie in quite awhile! It it most definitely worth taking a look!
