Man, I don't even OWN a bluray player....I only own about 5 DVD's total...my poor DVD player has been collecting so much dust.

5 DVD's?!?! Not into movies much huh haha.
Steelbooks are really for collectors. They look awesome and add a sweeter value to the film. You could have a crappy movie but if it came out in steelbook, automatic awesomeness. It is essentially the icing on the Blu-ray cake.

Actually, I'm very into movies, I just watch them through various other channels...and usually only buy my favorites.

Ahh gotcha.
Do you think mods or someone from Best Buy will notice this thread and give a reply?

Possibly. I'll shoot Dorothy a PM and give her a nudge this direction. I know she's a fan of movies, so I'll see what I can do.

Awesome. Thanks, Miranda!

SteelBook™ should be like this

Not this (Star MetalPak™)

Not this (Steel Tin™ aka Slipcase™)

Not this (DigiBook™)

Well, I think BestBuy should be better than its sister company and release both DVD and Blu-Ray steelbooks. They would stand to make a better profit this way.

Well looks like BB grew a pair and its releasing the Disney Steelbooks next week. Hopefully this will become something more often.
Thanks on behalf of Steelbook Collectors.
Free Tip: A steelbook of the Michael Jackson movie: "This is it" would be a great idea ![]()

Thanks Best Buy for listening and offering more SteelBooks! A little late to the game but better late than never. I hope this will be a successful run and we get more SteelBooks from Best Buy!
