Has this been delayed. It appear to be sold out in every Best Buy store in aevery part of the country. When can we expect to see it on shelves?

Well no Sarah it doesn't help.Since really there are no purchase options available.

See its not available in stores and no store in my area knows anything about why the product never hit store shelves on its Best Buy exclusive release day. They said I should call back or check online to see if any come in.

When I called Best Buy customer service yesterday they told me to order it online which I hesitated doing since stock never arrived at any best buy stores so why would it be available online? Shortly after that phone call the status on the website changed from "order online" to "not available".

I called customer service to see if they could tell me when the title would be available. They had no idea but asked me to call again today as their system would be updated overnight. I cannot imagine how it took a day to get the general answer you gave me on the official Best Buy community boards. IF the product is delayed then let your customers know for their convenience and I can quite wasting everyone's time at Best Buy with calls and store visits.

Its poorer customer service to hide what's happening rather just letting everyone know. It was a fairly major item in this weeks sales circular, I figured Best Buy could at least let people know what's happening. I suppose I was expecting too much as usual. 

I don't work for Best Buy and could have provided a better answer than you did, did you even take a couple of minutes to research the product in question or just get a link and post it?

I would think an explanation would be easy.

Regardless it cam in stock at one Best Buy in my major metro area and they had three copies in stock.

I am sure there are still plenty of people wondering where its at. The employees had no idea why it was delayed or that it should have been on the shelf yesterday.

I apologize that my post was unhelpful yesterday, but as I mentioned to you by private message, I was able to dig into this further and have now found that our stores did actually post a Correction notice regarding this matter as follows:

“Correction Notice:
On page 9 of the March 6 - March 12 ad insert we advertised Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium The Concert on Blu-Ray (SKU 2075143) for $17.99.

Due to shipping delays outside of our control some locations will not have the Blu-Ray version with the Best Buy Exclusive content when it releases on March 8, 2011.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.“

However, since that time we were able to get shipments overnighted to all our stores, and as of March 9^th this Best Buy® exclusive should now be available!

That is great, I am certainly going to check at the local BB here to see if they have it. I have been wanting this.
