I'm currently trying to preorder Dr. Strange the 3D steelbook version at my local store. But there computers wouldn't allow it. So I decided to online to bestbuy.com to try to preorder it. Same thing and it tells me that no store within 250 miles won't recieve it. So is this a logicalistic issue or are you guys really out of stock? I can't even get it delevered to my house. The Sku is 5712177 for Dr. Strange 3D Steelbook.
Anyone else run into this situation?

I'm seeing the same thing. That's especially frustrating since I was planning to use a $15 reward certificate that I earned to help defray the cost (It's quite expensive). Well, I waited until the end of the time range for the certificate to show up since I couldn't press the issue until the time had run out, and the certificate still hasn't shown up (The isssue is already being researched by a support associate.), and now it appears the item is out of stock. I was just going to pay full price for it today since the time for pre-orders is almost over, but I guess that's not possible now. Is there no recourse here?

I'm really looking forward to Doctor Strange -- especially since I managed to miss it in theaters. I'm sorry to hear you've been unable to complete your pre-order though and I regret any inconvenience to you.
As the release date of especially popular movies approaches, our stores will often have their allocation spoken for with pre-orders. As soon as the inventory available is depleted, the product will show as "sold out" on our website.
