iPhone Versus Storm

I am trying to decide between a BB Storm and an iPhone. I am planning on using this phone for both personal and work purposes. As well, I know that the iPhone has the "upper hand" in many features, but Security is also a concern! Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: iPhone Versus Storm

Hi fishinggtd!

I’ve actually only heard really great things about both phones.  Personally, I’m going to go with the BlackBerry Storm and I use my phone for the same purposes – personal and business.  I will be upgrading from the BlackBerry Pearl that I have been using for about the past year and a half, and because it has never given me any problems I feel confident that the BlackBerry Storm is going to be that much better.  Please let me know what you decide to go with and how it turns out!

Thanks!

Sarah

Re: iPhone Versus Storm

I am also a loyal Storm user, upgrading from a Curve 8330. The click technology for the screen is a really cool concept, and even though there is a slight learning curve with it, I am mastering it after about 3 weeks of owning the device.

Re: iPhone Versus Storm

I tried a storm out(my wife was looking for a new phone - I have a touch pro) and its pretty neat, its cool how the buttons almost "grab" your finger when you press it(for the click), but that being said(I tried an Instinct for a couple weeks) the touch screens are only "so responsive". Neat concept, but need some work still....I opted for the touch pro because of the slide out keyboard, and the windows mobile operating system...

Another hangup is going back to Verizon - they ticked me off a couple years back and I have been a loyal sprint user ever since(their 3g network is pretty quick as well).

My wife has since purchased a Blackberry Curve(8330) and she loves that....
