First of all I decided to post my question here, as the Best Buy Mobile Forums seem defunct to a degree.
I am tired of prepaid bull crap that costs too much to operate on a monthly basis. So I am switching to Metro PCS which has unlimited talk and text for $40 a month.
So are associates well trained to handle first time phone activations, and number porting, or do I call to activate the phones at home? They were very professional with me when I bought my Net 10 phone from them and I hope to get the same service when I go into the store next week.
Shopping at Best Buy was on my number one list, because they have a good track record of making people happy, but the official Metro PCS Store, which is in the same shopping center as Best Buy has a deal where you get a $25 rebate after purchcase.
Thanks for making my pre purchase experience worry free in advance!

Metro sucks. Don't go near them.

That was very helpful, considering in my area we have the best coverage available.

I hear that from so many people who don't have Metro. Then they get it, and next thing I hear? It sucks.

Nokia and George,
I am here to prove you both wrong. I have racked up 4 hours of talk time on this phone now, and not one time did the phone cut out, or get dropped. I have 6 bars at 1x .
Love my Metro Samsung Stunt.
