I bought a prepaid phone for $20 and $20 of minutes. I had the sales person activate the phone or so I thought last Saturday. I was told to wait a half hour and then the phone should work.
I didn't try to use the phone until Monday evening. It didn't work. No minutes. I grabbed my receipt and went to the Best Buy where I bought the phone.
Once there I was told I had to produce the minutes card, which I did not bring. I asked why I needed to produce the card. I was told that I might be trying to steal minutes from them. I asked if they could check the activity on the phone. I didn't get an answer.
I drove home and got the minutes card. I handed the card to the sales person. A half hour later I walked out PO'ed.
I told the sales person I would never step foot in any Best Buy. He said he was glad.
You may imagine my pleasure that Best Buy is closing stores. I hope the one I bought my phone is one of them.
Maybe if they treated their customers better, they wouldn't be closing any stores.
