keeping existing data plan when upgrading phones

I was trying to upgrade to a new phone on verizon and selected the option to keep my existing plan, but in the next step was instructed that I would need to select a new data plan. is there a way that I can keep my existing data plan instead?

You can upgrade in-store, or call Best Buy Mobile.
