Well, its 'tomorrow' -- any news, friend?

I still haven't heard anything from my local store. Do they have a certain date/time by which they will call to setup appointments. I need to know if I should go and camp out at the wally world if I'm not getting one. I'm #10 on the list for a black 32gb at a really small town BB

from what I've heard...no Walmarts are carrying ANY 32GB model.

I wouldn't be surprised. ATT doesn't trust WM as much as they do RS and BB, so they generally give them lower-end models.

I too called my best buy store in the Culver City area of Los Angeles. I preordered the 16gb Black on the 15th. I am 17th in line total, but i have no idea where i rank in terms of the 16gb black verision.I was told most people were ordering the 32gb, so hopefully that bumps me up higher on the list.
The guy in their mobile department told me he had "no idea" what was going on with the iphone4 inventory. I asked them if i should still expect a call from them regarding an appointment to come in on thursday and he said " I have no idea". This is upsetting because they really just do not seem to know whats going on. I was the one that had to explain to them on launch day that they shouldn't be promising me a white iphone on the 24th .They seemed to have no idea what i was talking about and basically treated me like i didnt know what i was talking about.
For a large ( and new) best buy store in a large city, i am shocked that the mobile employees would be trained so poorly to answer these questions. While i understand that BB cant do much about the supply vs. demand, they should at least be informed and prepared to handle paying customers inquiries.I'm really hoping for the best when thursday comes around. Not much else we can do in the meantime.
