Hello. Thanks in advance for any/ all helpful responses. I am new to the community and am writing to see if anyone can offer any insight into my situation. I bought the Apple iPhone 3GS from Best Buy Mobile in Charleston, SC a little more than 2 years ago. I opted to pick up the insurance policy that the Best Buy representative recommended. It was to cover any incidental damage, water damage, drops, cracked screen, etc with Best Buy supplying a loaner phone while they sent mine off to be fixed. It was a service that could be covered for $15.00/mo plus tax. The best part of the service, in fact the main reason that I purchased the service, was that if you did not have to use the policy once in the 2 year span of initial coverage the amount you put into the plan in that two year time would be refunded to you in the form of a Best Buy gift card to be used in-store.
I have spoken to a few different representatives on the phone abotu this and they seem to have no idea what I am referring to. Kind of feel taken advantage of buy Best Buy. Before I take it further, is there any help and/ or advice you can offer?
