Re: iPhone 16G black, price for outright

BB is not able to sell iPhones without a contract, under any circumstances.

If you are an ATT customer who already has an iPhone, and you break/lose it, you can buy a replacement outright from an ATT corp. store. The 16GB is $700. They will NOT sell it to you if you are not currently a customer who already has an iPhone 3G

However, I'm guessing you're not an ATT customer, and are in fact an exporter. In this case, buy it in your home country.

I figured, because I've never had someone come into the store who asks this question, and not be an exporter.

Re: iPhone 16G black, price for outright

We get calls like that all the time. People saying it's cheaper here in the US than it is else where. The problem with people taking them overseas is not only technology compatibility but also updates to the phones. People don't realize that when an update is released for the iphone, the update is programmed to recongnize what carrier the phone is supposed to be on, and wether or not it is actually on that network. If it's not, it'll "brick" the phone, rendering the iphone useless and leaving them with a very expensive paper weight.

Personally, not worth it.

Hello JunF,

You can find details about the iPhone in our FAQ.

I hope this helps.

I think your right.  I'll just buy my iPhone here.  Thanks.

You should be able to just buy the phone outright, I believe when I priced them at the store, it ran close to 700 bucks.

That is incorrect unless you are a current ATT customer.
