i have had my htc hero for about a year and it has become very slow when trying to do almost anything including getting calls. my friends  tell me their phone rings about 6 times and the hero only rings once. they hang up before i have a chance to answer the phone. is their anythbing i can do to help speed the phone up. i have the old software 1.3 but don't really want to upgrade to 2.1 and lose all my info.
