So, its clear to me that I am not going to be one of the lucky few that gets a new iPhone 4 on the promised launch day of June 24. After spending 16 hours on the internet on Tuesday to repeatedly get error messages from Apple and ATT, I went into a BB near my work and preordered my unit early Wednesday morning. I went back today and double checked my number in the line and I am the last preorder they took at around 100. No chance of June 24 for me. So, what I would like to know is this: When will the next batch(es) of iPhones arrive to Best Buy stores from Apple... ANYBODY?!

First off, why do you assume that you will not receive your phone? BB has ordered enough to fulfill all preorders.
There is no telling when the second shipment is, seeing as the first hasn't even come in yet most likely.

any actual proof of that?

Every BB I've talked to has said so...and I don't think any BB would overload on pre-orders KNOWING that it couldn't fulfill them.
Also, the keyword is ORDERED. Just because you ORDER something doesn't necessarily mean it's going to come in when it should...as is the case with the iPhone 4 since apparently Apple didn't expect demand to be so "high".

Yea exactly. This is a canned memo response so they can say " oh it is apples fault" when we are left high and dry for something BB sold.
holding a "preorder"

Actually -- I was told by the Mobile Center Manager and the Store Manager of this location, that I "The number of units they receive will almost assuredly not be enough to fufill all of their preorders on launch day. That many people, especially those lower on the list would have to wait for the second wave to arrive."
I am not the only one that has heard this -- Its even implied in the BB iPhone 4 Pre Order FAQS -- That those pre orders exceeding the actual number of units received on launch, will not receive their unit until the second wave has shipped to the stores.

Sure sounds like we "ordered all enough for the preorders" to me

I'm guessing they'd rather not notify their customers of internal inventory operations.
...It will be apple's fault. What's your point?

Nokia, you are like a broken record. Do you work for Best Buy? If not, stop pretending to be an employee. You're just another forum poster, with as little information as everyone else.
And definitely stop posting "They have ordered enough phones to fill all preorders", as if that statement has any meaning.

Bestbuy will sell whatever apple sends them. I would just cancel bestbuy order and pre-order from apple. That would be the best thing to do. Either that or you can check with apple store everyday.
