Sim card

Hi there,

I am new to this forum coming from London UK.

Can anyone tell me if I can buy a Sim to use in my cell phone, bought over here in UK while visiting Colorado for 2 weeks. Would be handy to keep in touch with wife when she wanders of to the shops, while I take in the sights.

Thanking you for your answers.

Jeff

What phone?  The answer depends heavily on whether you have a phone that supports AT&T's bands.

Also depends on if you want data service or not - if you only want voice, any but the cheapest unlocked phone should work with an AT&T SIM.

Actually, for voice-only service, T-Mobile should work fine too.

However it turns out the easiest way to get an AT&T prepaid SIM is to buy an AT&T phone - some of AT&T's gPhone packages are $20, including both a phone AND a few dollars of prepaid credit.  (Well, maybe not included credit any more.  :smileysad: )
