Got a text from 714-616-6156 stating I had won a $1000 Best Buy gift card, and to text 5555 at BestBuyWin.net. Clearly a scam using Best Buy as a facade to catch the unaware. Who has the power to track down scammers like this quickly before it hurts someone?

There have been several threads about this. There is really nothing that can be done to stop it. The domains originate overseas, the numbers and domains change often, and when one site/# gets shut down, more will pop up.

I got it too but alas I know it is a scam.  Too bad I would love to win a $1,000 gift card.  It states the code is 555 and the number is 714-616-6154.
