Phone insurance

I have had similar experiences as mentioned in other messages. Best Buy will wine and dine you to get the sale with all the fixings, but then screw you without Vaseline when you have a problem. I have purchased several phones from BB, last 2 I added their phone protection as "it is so much better than sprints, covers everything sprint does but no deductible" even specifically asked about lost/stolen since that happens a lot with my sons phone, they ensured me it did. I told everyone I knew what a great deal it was, until we needed to take advantage of the insurance. Not only was the CSR rude, but so was the manager of the mobile department, basically saying not our problem, we don't cover lost/stolen. I explained that wasn't what we were told on 2 separate occasions of buying phones, SO basically I'm out of an EVO phone. I was also told I would not be charged the upgrade fee, when I went to talk about that again CSR & manager said it was a charge sprint charges and they couldn't waive it, so how come when I purchased the phones they said they would waive it.... Again when you go to buy something they are all amazing, when you have issues, problems, they really suck. I have only been in there once after that and that was ONLY because they are the only ones that I know of to buy invisashield items, needed one for my Ipad2 which WAS NOT purchased from BB, and I now know I can buy the invisashields online at Zagg, so looks like no further need to make purchases at BB.

Yeah. I am extremely angry off with Best Buy at the moment. I was told, just like you, it covers lost and stolen phones. So I called today because my mother lost her phone, and they say we don't cover that. I also bought the BB plan for my phone and I am really angry that I did. ATT is cheaper per month, and yes, does have a deductible but at least they cover a lost phone! So I would rather pay $50 deductible then $500 for a new phone! This is an obvious issue because a million people are saying they are getting lied too. I will be writing to the entire company if I have to, to get a new phone. I am Premier Silver member and really hope they do what is right. Best Buy just lost a good customer.
