I just purchased a new smartphone from Best Buy Online for an upgrade to my current Verizon flip phone. I chose not to change my plan, thinking at some point during this purchase it would ask me which data plan I wanted with this phone, since the phone won't work without a data plan. Well I went all the way through checkout and it never asked me. I wanted to take advantage of the 4 gigabyte of data for the price of 2 gigs that is currently offered by Verizon. Can I come by a Best Buy store and see the Best Buy Mobile person to get this added?

The easist solution to your issue is to call Verizon or you can even add the data plan online through your Verizon account. I'm sure the consultants at Best Buy could and would help you, but it would be easier to make the call or just do it online.

All is well. Since I had to go to Best Buy anyway to pick up the phone, I stopped by the Mobile desk and they set me up with no problem.
