I finally gave up on the tp2 being at BB and got the Hero last night and this phone is amazing. Ita way better than the tp1 and i think it is better than the tp2 also, you can customize the whole phone right out of the box, unlike wm which requires you to download a program to do the same things. I think i'm gonna stick with android from now on, wm is just getting old adn needs to be totally revamped or redone to compete with the android os.

I just did a search for Sprint Touch Pro 2 on Best Buy's website and came up with this. Hopefully, they'll have it on sale after Christmas or the New Year, cuz I'm not paying that much for this phone.

Yep, I forgot to mention that BB now carries the TP2 for Sprint. In addition, select stores are carrying it for VZW, along with the Imagio.

This phone is now available on best buys website (sku #9669413) but what is up with the replacement only status why is it not available for upgrade?

Please do not go anywhere near BB's online cell sales. That is run by a completely separate company, and they are absolutely horrible.

When it shows up online like that does it mean it will eventually be available in stores?

Nope. You are looking at an entirely separate company that has nothing at all to do with BB other than being contracted by them. Their inventory is entirely separate.

The phone is not on the BB Mobile site. Check stock in your local stores. Only 3 stores near me have it in stock. I called one of them and they said the upgrade price with a 2 year agreement is $349. I asked if it would go on sale and she said it was new, so it would probably be awhile.

In addition, employees are not allowed to give details of future pricing.
