So im guessing that best buy doesn't think that they will sell very many touch pro 2's because of the price point it is set at.

I am in the greater Houston area. I am also sold out of Hero's.

BBBob, does your store have anymore touch pro 2 for sprint left, because no one seems to have them or know when they are going to be getting them. i have to get this phone at Best Buy because i had te touch pro, it broke, so now i have the warranty gift card to get any phone I want. If you do have any in stock would it be possible to ship one to store # 251?

bmxracer, I think BBBob is talking about the Hero.
No Best Buy stores have the TP2 yet, but they're all selling out of the Hero.

yea i think he is because i just read the post where he's talking about the one he played with. Never mind BBBob, im just really anxious/excited to get this phone. I've had a loaner phone for almost 5 months now.

I understand you being anxious. Have you played with the Hero? It is one awesome phone!

No I haven't played with the hero yet, it looks nice and it has a lot of great features, but I like the feel of a physical keyboard as opposed to a virtual keyboard(I have fat thumbs). I've never really tried an android powered phone, but with all of the problems with the g1 I'm a little hesitant. I would like a sprint phone that is comparable to the original touch pro and the only device that I have found that will do the same things is the touch pro 2. If there is another windows mobile that best buy carries for sprint please let me know(I have the snap as loaner phone and its not comparable at all). If there is another phone that Best Buy sells(for sprint) that has almost all the same feature as the touch pro or pro2 please let me know.

I don't know about the Sprint or T-Mo TPro2 variants (there's slight differences in hardware between TMo and AT&T, and big differences due to CDMA between Sprint and AT&T), but the AT&T Tilt 2 (which is a TPro2) is amazing.
One disclaimer: The stock AT&T ROM is chock full of bloatware. I'm talking epic bloat - only 130M or so free storage, 70% RAM use with nothing running. Within hours I flashed a new ROM (EnergyROM Photon) that had more applications built in, was faster, and had 250M free storage!
