Actually, being a premier customer and with IBM (personal liable)... I got literature detailing a "promo" they have where you can bring a friend or family onto your account (i.e. start a new line) and get the full $75.00 ($50.00 for referring and $25.00 for being referred) credit.

I'm not sure which of the aspects of my profile got me that "promo" (or if it's available to all customers), but if they don't pay up I'll throw their own literature down their throats

The HERO has landed, here's hoping for some TP2 info in the following week if it doesn't come Sunday. Considering the BB pre-order and launch for the HERO this Sunday I'm starting to doubt it.

I actually decided to give up on the TP2.  I'm picking up my Hero in 2 hours with the early release coupon.

If Sprint decides to drop the price to $250.00 or less (or Best Buy drops it that much), I'll go and add another line to have both phones... but if not.  I guess I'll no longer be a WinMo user.

I'm seriously considering doing the same thing and just getting the Hero.  Let us know how it works out for you.

OMG!!! The Hero is awesome!!! I've only been playing with it for about an hour and a half and I love it!

btw! It has VISUAL VOICEMAIL!!! I don't think the TP2 offers that!

The only problem I have now is getting Callwave removed from my Sprint account (been working on that for about a half hour... Sprint can't seem to find all the codes).

If you want to get your Hero today and not wait until tomorrow (which I would advise if you want to get it)... You'll need a  Best Buy Rewards Zone account (buy a pack of gum, and sign up for one)... Activate your Rewards card... go to Google and search for for the coupon that lets you buy a hero from best buy early... print it out... go to Best Buy and say "I'd like my early Hero please." and within minutes you've got yourself a brand new HTC phone!

Sounds like you like it so far...I would also be interested to know how well the virtual keyboard works, as well as the size and resolution of the screen. Have you watched videos on it?  What about the music player? I'm still thinking of waiting for the TP2 since it has a real keyboard.

We sold 2 yesterday and 5 so far today. It is an awesome phone. got to play with it alittle before the customer said, he wanted to have his phone please!! I don't understand why he was so inpatient. Seriously it is one heck of a phone. Very fast on the internet.

BBBob, where are you located because I've called about 5 stores in the Phoenix area and none of them know when they are going to be getting the phone in stock. Its kind of weird that the HTC hero comes out and 5 days later best buy has it, but the touch pro 2 has been out for over a month and they still haven't got it.
