Stores?  No they didn't.  None of Sprint's corporate stores have the TP2 yet.  It's all dirrect fulfillment for the time being.  C'mon man, verify your info.

Just heard from my local store's mobile center that they talked to their Sprint rep and Best Buys will get the phone, but not until mid to late October.  Right now, the phone is only available for online order through Sprint (and some very select sprint affiliates like Blue Fish which handles IBM Corporate discount accounts).

I think I'll probably wait a month instead of giving Sprint a 2-12 month interest free loan in the form of a rebate.  Maybe if enough people go to 3rd party dealers like Best Buy, Am@zon, W@lmart, R@dio Shack, etc... where they don't have to deal with the rebates... Sprint might just wake up and realize that rebates are not something their customers want.

Plus I'm kinda hoping that the same thing will happen with the Sprint version that happened with the T-Mobile version.  As in - T-Mobile released the phone, Best Buy sold it for 350, 3 weeks later, T-Mobile is still selling it for 350, Best Buy is selling it for $200. YES THAT'S RIGHT!!! $150 less than T-Mobile is selling it!

Sooooo.... worst case, I gamble and have to pay $350 for this phone in a month.  Best case, I wait and get a significant discount (maybe not $150, but even a $50.00 discount is better than nothing).

I don't think they list them. It's usually flagship stores, like the main store in major cities.

I'm stil hearing October from every Best Buy I've been to.... No, it's not in the system, but the Sprint reps that help the stores are telling the stores October at the earliest.

I've called every "flagship" store in the Pittsburgh area and nobody's heard of this "available to Premier customers".  If anybody in the Pittsburgh, DC, or even Baltimore area know of a Best Buy that has the phone for Premier customers... please let me know.

I'm curious where the hold-up is in this process? Manufacturer? Carrier? This phone has been out for months in Europe.

That's normal for any new phone. Europe gets it months, sometimes even up to a year before the US does.

Sprint stores have it for premier customers, not BB.
