Isn't Locked & Found the exact same thing as "Find my Phone" from Apple? (Free) Or "Where's my droid" for Andriod? (Also free) Since they both have cloud services on their platforms built in, whouldn't that be more efficient?

I will have to admit that the carrier's coverage, even when factoring in the deductible, is a better choice. They cover loss, theft, and types of damage not covered by the BTSP.

The problem with such apps is that local police departments can't assist in getting your phone back. So, you may know where it is, and may in fact be able to determine who is using it, but it would take a court order in order for the police to even investigate. Of course, if the phone is merely lost and someone finds it, hopefully they will turn it in at the nearest carrier store.

I bought the $10-15 BB insurance for my LG Optimus Elite this summer, and recently I dropped my phone on the main lawn at my college, and the mowers ran over it. Needless to say, the phone no longer functions. Does the BB warranty cover that? (Again, I was also told that this warranty would cover anything at all, but I doubt you get too many phones in this circumstance.)
Thanks

You'll have to bring it in and see. Honestly, I can see it going both ways. Here's the relevant information from the terms of the plan:
"ADH Exclusions: units that fall from elevated heights such as decks, balconies, or out of windows, units that have been run over or that fall from moving vehicles, damage from liquid immersion/submersion or any other secondary damage or using the product in a manner the manufacturer did not intend is not covered."
It's all going to hinge on whether they consider the mower a moving vehicle, which I suspect they will.
