I've seen a lot of conflicting information regarding the deals available for purchasing the EVO 4G LTE from Best Buy. I'm upgrading from an EVO 4G and plan on turning my phone in for the trade-in offer. I also pre-ordered my new phone in the store. I believe this means that I will receive a $50 credit (for the trade-in, regardless of phone condition) and a $50 GC (for pre-ordering my phone in store), thereby bringing my total cost to $99.99. However, the guy in the store had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about the GC. Am I missing something here?

Pre-order now. Product will ship on launch date. Featuring the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, this HTC EVO 4G LTE APX325CKT mobile phone makes it easy to stay connected on the go. HTC Sense 4.0 offers an enhanced user interface for easy use. Requires a Simply Everything or Everything Data plan and a $10 Premium Data add-on. Early termination fee is prorated and is calculated by taking the months remaining on your Agreement times $20 for Advanced Devices, with a maximum of $350, and minimum of $100.

Yes, these offers can be combined and should lower the cost of the device as expected.
Thanks,

Actually, there are *FOUR* deals that you can possibly combine if eligible.
$50 Gift Card for Pre-Order that **CAN** be used towards purchase.
$50 Discount for trading in original EVO 4G.
$50 Gift Card for trading in original EVO 4G.
$50 Gift Card if you signed up for Phone Freedom (can no longer sign up) that **CAN** be used towards purchase.
-----
$200
It appears at a minimum, you will be able to apply $150 (2 gift cards and 1 discount) towards purchase of the phone. Remains to be seen if the $50 gift card from the trade-in deal can be used at purchase.

Yes, existing customers eligible for upgrade or new line of service and new customers are eligible.
On a side note, 1 of my 4 lines was *NOT* eligible to upgrade. I called Sprint, and they moved my upgrade date from June 30 2013 to NOW for $115.
I also asked them to waive my 4 activation fees. This is quite common, but I will have to call back after they appear on my bill for the credit of $36 x 4.
So, 4 new phones will cost me $115.
Not bad.
Thanks, Best Buy!

Okay, one more follow-up question. I did not sign up for Phone Freedom. I pre-ordered my EVO 4G LTE in the store, I am trading in my EVO 4G, and I am renewing my Sprint contract. My understanding is that each of those actions gets me $50 off (either via a discount or a GC), for a total of $150 off. This brings my phone down to $50. Is this correct? If so, is there official documentation of this? The employees at my store did not know the answer to this question, so I would like to have something to show them next Wednesday when I *hopefully* pick up my phone. Thanks!

Im trading in two evo 3d's. Will I be able to qualify for the $50 gift card for trading in and activating.
Thus getting, $50 for preorder Promotion + (110 or 65 for Trade in value) + $50 Gift card for (trading in and activating)= 165-210 potentionally for each phone.
This is with out phone freedom, because i did not do this. Also I had to pay 50 dollars to preorder phone, although I should have been. That makes it 210-260 So I will have money left on gift card. Can you please verify if this works. Thank you.I would like to upgrade today when my store gets its preorders.
