So I am on the 2nd pre-order list at my local Best Buy near Hollywood, and I called this morning and they said they were "closed"....

Is that their way of just not answering phones because they are busy?

It's the Los Feliz BB location. I don't get it. And I haven't received a phone call about my preorder, either.

I'd just like to know an ESTIMATE of when I'll get the phone, whether it'll be a few days or if it's going to be weeks.

Someone have any words?

they probably havent gotten their shipment yet...i ordered mine at the best buy in culver city...they havent even got the phones yet...theyre expectin them tonight...we'll see...BUT THIS SUCKS!!!!

if you ordered on or after july 4th best buy says you will most likely not be getting your phone on release day. and yes best buy does open at 10am.

What sort of wait time can I anticipate for the 2nd shipment? Is this going to be weeks?

might be especially with best buy. I've heard that some of the bigger city's stores didnt even get their shipments today such as one in LA, so yeah i dont know how long of a wait you can expect but it might be a while. If you really want one today i suggest calling your local verizon store and praying they arent sold out yet.

The perfect solution to your problem is to: 1. Order your phone from verizonwireless.com  2. Go to best buy and get your deposit refunded.

Best Buy is a disappointment
