Am I really getting my iPhone 4s replaces with an refurbished set? Please let me know?

I bought my iPhone 4s in december 2011 and since I bought it, it started doing this really annoying thing where I would dial a number and the phone looked like it was calling but I couldnt hear anything. I luckily bought a protection service with best buy, but today when I took my phone to bestbuy they told me it might be replaced with a refurbished one. Is this true? I am pretty upset and will be if this actually happens. Does someone have any data on this?

What's wrong with a refurb? everyone seems to think refurbs are poopy or something

Refurbs go through more QA testing than new units.

But to answer your question Millie-C, yes, the phone will most likely be Rapid Exchanged for a reconditioned unit.
