Hi - I have a company discount with ATT Wireless but would prefer to sign up and purchase a phone from Best Buy. Can my service plan discount be applied when signing up at the store? I could provide any employee discount numbers/proof of employment necessary.
Thanks

It depends on what your discount is on. If the discount is on the service itself, say 20% off your bill every month, then yes, no problem. You'll sign up normally at BB, then contact ATT to add the discount on.
If it's a discount on the equipment, ie. the phone, then no, you'd have to go through ATT or your company.

Thanks! Yes, its a service discount (12%). So good to know that it can be applied. I actually saw a posting today on Engadget.com that Best Buy is offering discounts on Iphones for Rewards Members ($100 off for Silver and $50 for all others) so I would save money buying it through BB instead of AT&T. Are you aware of that new discount offer?
Thanks again!
Steve

Ouch! Bummer about the phone. The BB add is offering the Iphone for $100 if your a Silver Rewards members (over $2500 spent I think) or for $150 if you were already a rewards member before the sale started. It with a 2 year plan so if you were midway through a contract, I don't think you would get it for the discounted price. Maybe the BB rep on this forum can clarify.
So, I am still on the fence about getting an Iphone at BB this week. How have you liked the ATT service and the phone?
Thanks!
