car stereo stays on even after doors are opened and keys are out of ignition..pontiac montana 05 witha jvc deck ..have to manually shut deck off....thanks

make sure the the yellow wire on the back of the deck has constent power and that the red only has power when the key is turned on

thanks..brought back today seein as it was installed a month ago...took 20 minutes, they had to replace a module he said, that was bad..said was all set..bang bang it worked...i wonder what kind of module?

That was likely the databus interface module (the really expensive wire harness) that went bad.  It doesn't happen incredibly often anymore since the manufacturer has redesigned them, but that is one of the symptoms that they exhibit when they do go bad.
