headphones for in the car

I am looking to get a headphone splitter & set of headphones for my kids to use when watching DVD's in the car.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: headphones for in the car

You might get some more useful info in the iPods/MP3 Players forum, since the kind of thing you're looking for isn't car-specific unless you want to go for those special wireless headphones.

In many cases it's a matter of preference...  I have a set of Skullcandy Titans with Comply foam eartips, but even with the foam tips, the "in-ear" style bothers a lot of people and might not be appropriate for little kids.

Another thing to consider is the new volume limiting headphones that they have out for kids to use now....from what I understand, it simply limits the volume and helps to protect their hearing.
