I have a 2010 Tahoe with a standard audio system with OnStar (not activated) but not Bluetooth.  I am replacing the system with a Kenwood DNX6160 which has Bluetooth.  Is there an adapter that will integrate the new system with the OE so that I do not have to have the external microphone either attached to the visor or dash with the cord exposed?   I am considering the GMOS-LAN-012 but not sure this will accomplish what I am trying to do.

Any guidance or advice you can provide is greatly appreciated.

No, the external microphone included with the deck will be required for you to use the hands free bluetooth feature. Bluetooth MP3 streaming on the other hand will still be functional without the microphone.
