Hi guys,
So here is the story. Just bought a new Sony Xplod from Best Buy to replace my factory stock radio., HD and Sat ready, etc. I admit I don't know much about car stereos, but when I asked if the Radio I wanted could play pick up HD radio signals, the sales clerk said 'absolutely' . Well apparently thats true if you have anoptional HD Radio tuner. No one tlde me that and I assumed the deck itself could pick it up. I take part the blame for that, but I also would have assumed that the install guy would have asked me if i wanted that as well. It at leas would have made me turn around and buy a car stereo that could pick up HD radio without a seperate tuner. Also when I use the aux jack for my ipod, All I'm hearing is music, no vocals at all. So all in all I don't like the unit at all. Don't like the sound, and feel I was slightly mislead about what it could do ( no HD radio without tuner).
What's the return policy on something like this? I would gladly return it for another model, but will I get charged twice for an install?
Thanks
