Hey everyone,
I am coming up against a brick wall trying to figure out what kind of iPod adapter to get my Dad. He has a Ford Explorer '05 and I am debating between a Belkin Fm Transmitter with ClearScan or an integrated system like iSimple ( that uses Fm transmitter radio...does that mean you have to find an empty FM station?)
What do guy thinks? Which is better/ more worth the money?
Thanks!

Installation Professional installation is strongly recommended for this product. Price includes cost of basic installation. Additional parts and labor are usually required. Cost of additional parts and labor typically ranges from $5 to $150, depending upon vehicle make and model. Follow these steps for installation: Purchase your product — You will receive an e-mail confirming your purchase Find your local Best Buy store Call to schedule an appointment Note: Please be sure to print and bring your confirmation e-mail with you to the store at the time of your installation Learn more about the iSimple >(Flash demo)
For faster service, check with your local store on this. If too expensive, go with the iSimple with the FM transmitter, as that unit also charges the Apple iPod.

Ok, thank you for posting that.
However, I was hoping for a more personal review of the product rather from people that have actually used it considering it has gotten mixed reviews on this site and less than favorable reviews on other sites.

I've had both fm transmitters, and the isimple. IMO, the isimple is the ONLY way to go. Sound quality is flawless. Charges your idevise while driving. Also enabvles you to retain steering wheel controls. When you receive a call it will mute the music, and play your ringtone over the car's speakers. Allows you to flip thru your library using the wheel on the head unit. This is my only complaint, as I have 20gb of music on my phone with many artists and searching can be cumbersome. To prevent this, I created a butt-ton of playlists.
Honestly, this is the ONLY way to listen to an idevice in your car.

Definately the isimple. Wireless FM transmitters are not ever going to give you sound quality that you will be satisfied with. The isimple includes installation also
