PC Speaker high pass / low pass filter

Does such a thing exist as an in-line stereo jack high pass or low pass filter?

I am looking to 3 way split the audio coming out of my computer into a high, low, and unfiltered audio channels in order to take better advantage of all the sound responsive lights I have.

I'm not opposed to other solutions that get the same thing accomplished.

Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Off the shelf, no idea. What you're looking for is something like a crossover filter, but those are almost all designed for 4-ohm or 8-ohm speakers, not for line-level audio. Easy for someone with basic electronics experience and a few op-amps though.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think this would be an easy thing (or even a possible thing) to track down but I still held out hope. :smileyhappy:
