The current factory radio I have, apparenty has a short within itself. Could Best Buy fix this problem?
If not, which radio would work with my 2005 Ford Focus? If I have to buy a new radio, I would want it to be capatible with an i-pod and I prefer double din.
Thanks in advance

If the head unit is shorted, it probably would be cheaper to just buy a new aftermarket. As for brand, I prefer Kenwood, but most other ones are just fine also. Quite a few of the double din radios have ipod capability. Some though need an adapter but have built in controls for ipods. Kinda hard to recommend a specific brand and model. You may not like what I like. Havent been in the car audio game for nearly 20 yrs.

And you dont have to specifically go with a double din unit. You can get a single din and use an installation kit. That is what I did for my 2002 focus, this also gave me a nice little compartment area to hold my cell under my radio ![]()
