Mobile Audio Systems & GPS

I'm looking for a LOUD radio I can use at work.  Seeing as how I work in a metal fabrication shop I really do need it to be loud.  I have tried a few wallmart/radio shack cheap radios and have had no luck.  I would like something that puts out a lot of sound with good clarity.  I am not concerned with bells and whistles, just a solid loud radio.  Anyone have any ideas?  I would like to keep the damage to the wallet under $150 if possible.

Hi. My husband uses this one (ridgid radio) at work. I think is pretty loud. May want to give it a try.

In a very loud manufacturing environment, the Kicker iKick 500/501 portable radio sounds incredible. You wouldn't think so much bass would come from a portable radio.
