Mapping Software

I am looking for a solid mapping software to replace our current Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007.  We are a business that has employees traveling around to homes so this will be installed on approximately 40 laptops.  I have read that the 2010 version of S & Ts can only be installed on one computer.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me?  Thanks!

Hey coop11,

Welcome to the forums!!  You can consult with our Best Buy for Business Team to see what options may be available for your Mapping Software.  They have the availability to process orders which may suit your business needs.  I'm going to send you a private message to give you further details.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forums and clicking on the envelope icon in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Regards,

Re: Mapping Software

Actually, S&T '10 doesn't even need to be activated. It can be run on as many computers as you want.

Whether that is legal or not is a different story.  To the OP:  Were you volume licensed for those 40 laptops?  If not, hope that you never have a disgruntled employee or ex-employee call the BSA.

Re: Mapping Software

Really?  I have been reading some blogs on different sites and a few said that S&T 10 had to be registered and could only be used on 1 machine.

This isn't a problem, since legally you need to purchase 40 licenses or negotiate volume licensing with Microsoft.

Re: Mapping Software

I installed it a while ago, and I don't remember having a serial number or anything. I downloaded it though, so it could've just been cracked.
