over the holidays doing shopping for some family members who are in the service,

i was really ashamed to see how much made in china, made in malaysia, etc

stuff best buy has.  really i couldn't even find flashlights and basic tools that were made in the USA here.

How on earth do you equate the things that are for sale not being made in the US as not supporting the troops? Hate to tell you this, but next to nothing is made in the US anymore, especially electronics.

simple, buying USA made items like tools and electronics supports OUR economy and creates jobs.

i thought it was ironic that military and police are using made in china gear.

Anyway to answer why I responded, Best Buy recently sent thousands of care packages to troops overseas, I can't really call that 'not supporting" them.
